TV is the public media. It has many programs: TV series, TV entertainments, and advertising etc. The TV advertisings are the things have more relationship with pop culture. It is shows every brand has their new products to sell. They use the TV advertising to attract the audience.

In this blog, I have overall the things that I had learn in this semester. All the things about pop culture: the meaning of pop culture, the culture identity, readings in the book, music, and the movies. Technology and TV are the things not talked very much in the class, but they are also the parts of pop culture.

Technology

Technology is the important thing for our live. I think the most important thing that I cannot live without is the computer. As I am a student, my job is to do my homework. In the Untied States, most the college students need to use the computer to do their homework. If I have no computer, then I cannot do my homework, so I will fail my classes if I don’t do any homework.

Movies

I have done the project movie review, I have done the movies: “Gladiator” and “crouching tiger, hidden dragon”. “Crouching tiger, hidden dragon” is one of the Chinese movies. It is call WuXia movie. It is talk about the main actress named Shu Lien who against her parents’ order, and then she leaves her home. She loved a thief, then she try to together with him. Finally, she leaves alone because she stole an important sword.

Music

Music is the things most people used for relax. I like the pop music; pop music is most talk about the song writer’s mood, or something the relative to them. I listen to the music when I have the emotion; music is easier to calm me down. Listen the different music when I have the different moods, it is more touchable.

Reading

For the reading section, we have read about a article that talks about the texting. In this article is talk about that they use the texting for communicate. In my opinion, the texting is not the best way to communicate, some important thing I will suggest the face to face talking. It would be more respectful.

Cultural Identity

In this culture section, I had done about the Chinese culture, which is the culture identity of me. All the things are the Chinese culture; they are the foods, clothing, and the building. Most of it are traditional Chinese culture.
